Chicago Outfit – Guest DJs

chicago outfitThe Chicago Outfit Roller Derby League was founded in the fall of 2007. We are a democratic roller derby league run by the skaters, for the skaters. We are an all-female flat track roller derby league based in the city of Chicago. Our goal is to create a positive female community dedicated to contributing charitably to other non-profit organizations. We, as skaters, strive to develop the skills necessary to compete within the Women’s Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA). As of June 17, 2010, we are proud members of WFTDA. The Chicago Outfit represents roller derby internationally with class, sass, and dignity.

Bishop – 7:00

BishopBishop was formed in Chicago in the early months of 2015 by remaining members of now-defunct Chicago/Champaign bands Cage Match, Enta, and Sophie Crane. Guitarists Daniel Lee (Enta) and Sam Kim (Sophie Crane) first began working on material with Bassist Adam Salsberg (Cage Match) before recruiting Bryan Kingsley (also of Cage Match) to play drums. From there, everything began to fall into place – with the band creating its own distinctive sound, best described as “Stoner Emo”. Months of careful writing, long rehearsals, and self-recording in rented warehouse spaces produced the material that was lent to a split EP with Chimess later that year, and to our debut album “Strange Demise” in 2017. With these releases and several shows under our belt, we continue to write and record new material, have as much fun as possible while doing so, and look forward to embarking on our first Midwest Tour with our friends Dead Sun. Thanks for listening, and stay tuned.
